Ecstatica is a coming together,  to come as you are and feel into the unique expression of your body's artistry through dance, play & joyful celebration. You will be taken on an a journey through the elements and within each phase tapping into beautiful energetic pulses & waves that emanate from the beat of the music and into your heart.

Ecstatica's sacred mission is to ignite the power you can cultivate within you to reach beautiful states of ecstasy & taps into your ability to get high on your own supply.  The inspiration comes from our beloved MotherNature, who reflects to us how to use the elements to create unlimited abundance & ecstasy from within. 

This is a safe place for all to join & connect with a high vibrational community.

Through dance, you will alchemize your light & your shadow, your sacred & your wild. You will shake off the masks of the false self, go within, release tension, emotions, thoughts, and memories, uplift, awake playfulness, and meet other conscious Souls.

Ecstatic dance is a free form of dance, you dance and move any way you want in a consent-based, judgment-free environment.

JOURNEY THROUGH ELEMENTAL MEDICINE

EARTH: Soft & slow moving. Ground in , connect with your physical body, find your rhythm, plant your seeds of intention. Begin to sprout from the depths of density , blossom and awaken to the first beat.

AIR : Begin to take flight. Unroot yourself and soar. Allow the wind to take you into mystery, playfulness, possibility, sensuality, grace. Become weightless on your feet and spread your wings. Trust in the unseen vibrations that pulse within your heart and put trust back into the feeling of your intuitive movements. Tempo increased inviting you to dance deeper into your authentic truth.

FIRE: Let it all go. Fan your sacred flame. Ignite your wildest desires. Dance with the blazing embers. Feel the heat rise from your root and into your crown - exploding ecstasy. Burn away the false masks, surrender into transcendence, welcome deep transformation. Get lost in your unique fiery glow. Move through the inferno of bliss. Tempo is exciting, quick, exhilarating.

WATER: Rehydrate your soul. Dive deep into the nourishment of your crystalline nectar. Swim freely into the rivers of self-love. Feel the ease of your joints move through the waves of sound. This is the time where we soften into the emotional ebbs & flow to bring clarity and allow your unique expression ripple through the oceans of time.

ETHER: Space. Peace. Serenity. Stillness. Float into heaven on Earth while you sink into the vibration of soft sounds, subtle ambient melodies. Within the stillness... within the pause, space is found for profound integration. Comeback to the origin point of your existence. That first breath. The point of origin. Where nothing is require of you here. Just be.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

1. Please come already dressed in comfortable clothing suitable for movement/fitness and dress in layers. Toilets are available at the venue but there are no separate changing rooms.

2. We dance barefoot or grip socks.

3. Hydration: Water bottles will be available at the venue for 1.00

4. A healthy snack to have after the dance.

VENUE: 

We are located at 1375 Hopkins Street, Unit 5, Whitby ON. Our unit is a martial arts school across the street from the Soft Moc Warehouse, towards the back of the complex . Since we aren't directly visible on the road, look for the streetfront unit "Unique Media Solutions". Turn into the driveway and drive towards the back until you see an opening in the parking lot on your left . We are the corner unit. Come on in. Bus stops are close by, on Consumers Rd. For GO Train riders, you will exit at the Whitby Station.

A few selected creators will be available for you to explore their offerings. From sacred smoke herbals to sacred tools & clothing.

 We just LOVE chocolate, RAW chocolate-CACAO! We will provide complimentary raw, vegan, velvety Cacao to superfood charge your dance with us! Cacao is the ultimate heart opener and is filled with feel-good activators. It will give you energy and melt away the barriers of the heart, inviting you to express, release & unleash your creativity during the dance! Founder, Monica, will prepare the cacao herself and uses ethically sourced, highest quality ingredients from Peru, directly from a reliable cacao bean farmer.

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

We do not offer refunds/ticket swaps for another event if you cannot attend if less than 72h notice if provided. You are welcome to pass on your ticket to a friend, colleague or family member however please let us know the name and email address of the person attending in your place. SACRED WILD ALCHEMY: Founder ,Monica Guerreiro Hickey . 

Sacred Wild Alchemy is the forging of our divine nature & fierce aspects of our primal being in order to elevate our innermost vibration & blooming. Founder, Monica Guerreiro Hickey is initiated as a New Earth Master Medicine Woman who continues to explore in the realms of spiritual mysticism, playful exploration, philosophy & divine connection through sacred processes & empowering practices such as embodiment, dance, chant, breath-work and prayer . Monica's deep intention in everything she creates is to weave play & prayer in all things she shares in community. Her events are a sought after experience within the Durham Region as she brings elements of raw authenticity, excitement & holds all she meets in safe space to feel into the same level of authentic peace.

Live DJ: WIZDOM. 

WIZDOM, or by his human name, Sean Crites, is a decorated DJ and music enthusiast with over 30 years of experience. Throughout his career, Sean has played shows all over Ontario, Canada since the mid 90's. He has been featured in TRIBE Magazine multiple times as well as publications in the UK and has won multiple DJ competitions. His music specialties are house, techno, trance, breaks, and jungle.

Sound Bath : Kate Carson. 

Kate is a Yoga and Meditation instructor who has been guiding people since 2016. Her life work is supporting people in consciously cultivating inner peace through relaxation, mindful movement and rest to live a more joyful, harmonious and successful life. Kate teaches Yoga Nidra, Guided Meditation, Heart Imagery, Vinyasa Flow and Sound Therapy as her offerings at studios, corporate offices and for private clients, and hosts regular workshops and programs online and in-person.
